Gearing

We will talk about our stat priority and what pieces of gear you should prioritize obtaining. Gearing this season is very straightforward. When it comes to trinkets, especially, there are only a few good options.

Stat Priority

You want to prioritize your stats as the following: Versatility = Critical Strike > Mastery >> Haste. You want to try and prioritize Versatility and Critical Strike on every piece of gear. Ideally, you want as little Mastery and Haste as possible.

Versatility

You want a high percentage of Versatility because it increases your damage and healing, while also decreasing all damage that you take. This is especially helpful against magic damage, as we can't dodge it and our stagger has reduced effectiveness against it.

Tier Set

Even though the secondaries on our tier set this season isn't great, the set bonuses make up for it. Not only does it give us a huge damage increase overall, mainly through the use of Keg Smash, but it also provides us with a small amount of constant damage reduction.

Harvester's Interdiction

Versatility / Mastery - Gives a proc to your attacks.

Trinkets

Ovi'nax's Mercurial Egg

This trinket grants us increased Agility when we are standing still, stacking up to 30 times. When we are moving, we gain an increase to our highest secondary stat, stacking up to 30 times. This egg is very strong, as it is a very helpful stat increase. If you can get it from raid, make sure you always run it.

Embellishments

You should run Adrenal Surge Clasp + Crafted Gloves/Shoulders with Writhing Armor Banding until you get 639 gloves/shoulders. Then, you should move the Writhing Armor Banding to crafted wrists.

Adrenal Surge Clasp

This embellishment causes our abilities to grant us a large increase in Agility and slightly decreases our Mastery. This is very good and should be the first embellishment you make.

Enchantments & Consumables

Enchantments and consumables are very important for your character. We will discuss what enchants and consumables that you want, along with why. Certain enchants and consumables may vary based on your stats.
